As a Senior Backend Developer, you will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring the team to provide technical leadership and promote best practices. Your responsibilities include architecting and developing high-performance applications using Node.js and Nest.js, ensuring the seamless integration of server-side logic with user-facing features by collaborating across teams, conducting code reviews for high-quality and maintainable code, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, optimizing databases, and implementing security best practices across all systems. To excel in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience in backend development and demonstrate strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and asynchronous programming. Your expertise should extend to designing and implementing microservices architectures, building and maintaining APIs, integrating third-party services, working with databases such as MySQL and NoSQL, and implementing authentication/authorization mechanisms like JWT and OAuth. Proficiency in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud is essential, along with strong communication skills to lead teams effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.
