Role & responsibilities: Review and interpret client requirements, architectural layouts, marking plans, and RCP (Reflected Ceiling Plan) drawings to ensure accurate quantity take-offs. Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on technical specifications and inputs. Identify and resolve discrepancies between BOQ, drawings, specifications, and contractual conditions through systematic coordination and clarification. Monitor and control project costs throughout the lifecycle, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and value engineering. Participate in pre-tender meetings with clients, architects, and project managers; raise relevant pre-bid queries for clarity on tender documents. Prepare initial cost estimates, quotations, and contract documents in coordination with the sales and commercial teams. Collaborate with the design team to analyse architectural and MEP drawings, ensuring alignment with project scope and technical feasibility. Manage valuation of work executed, including preparation and submission of interim and final valuations, variations, and claims.
