Medical Records Technician – Key Responsibilities Patient Record Management Collect, organize, and maintain inpatient and outpatient medical records. Ensure proper filing, retrieval, and safe storage of patient records (both physical and electronic). Assign and manage medical record numbers. Data Entry & Documentation Enter patient demographic, clinical, and diagnostic data into the hospital information system (HIS). Maintain accuracy and completeness of patient charts and records.
