Prakruti Eco Polymers is building a PET-to-Yarn recycling venture , converting plastic waste into high-quality polyester yarn for textiles. We are seeking a hands-on leader who will drive operational setup, ensure compliance, and oversee documentation and permissions required for this project. This person will work closely with founders, regulators, and partners to bring the project to life. Key Responsibilities Project Setup & Compliance Oversee end-to-end factory setup for PET-to-yarn operations. Handle permissions, approvals, and statutory licenses including: Pollution Control Board (CPCB/SPCB) approvals. Factory license, labor law compliance, and fire safety clearance. Import/export licenses, excise, and environmental clearances. Manage liaison with government departments for approvals and ongoing reporting. Ensure 100% compliance with recycling, plastic waste management, and sustainability laws. Documentation & Processes Prepare and manage all documentation for investors, banks, and regulators . Create SOPs for plant operations , including safety, quality, and reporting mechanisms. Maintain detailed MIS reports on production, costs, and compliance submissions. Manage vendor contracts, machinery procurement agreements, and AMC records . Operations & Team Management Work with technical consultants to finalize machinery selection and installation . Set up supply chain processes for PET waste sourcing and yarn distribution. Hire and manage core operations and compliance teams at the plant. Drive efficiency, cost control, and timely project execution . Business & External Relations Coordinate with banks, investors, and auditors for funding and project reports. Build partnerships with suppliers (PET waste collectors) and buyers (textile mills, fabric manufacturers) . Represent the company at industry forums, sustainability events, and government meetings . Key Skills & Qualifications Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical / Polymer / Textile Engineering; MBA preferred. Experience: 8–12 years in manufacturing / recycling / polymer / textile industry with exposure to compliance and factory operations. Knowledge of: Recycling processes (PET to flakes, pellets, fiber, yarn). Indian regulatory framework: PCB, MoEFCC, labor laws, GST, DGFT for imports/exports. End-to-end project documentation for permissions, subsidies, and financing . Skills: Strong documentation and compliance management. Vendor negotiation and supply chain management.
