Role & responsibilities As a Senior Salesforce Test Automation Engineer at PracticeVantage, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the highest quality of our Salesforce solutions. Your role will focus on automating tests for Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and custom Salesforce applications developed by our team. You will work closely with Salesforce Developers, Technical Architects, and Project Managers to understand business requirements and ensure that our solutions meet both functional and non-functional standards. Design, develop, and maintain a scalable and reliable automation testing framework for Salesforce applications. Collaborate with Salesforce Developers and Architects to understand system designs and develop appropriate automation testing strategies. Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of Salesforce applications. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through to resolution, working closely with the development team. Participate in the Agile development process, attending stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews, to ensure quality is embedded in the development process. Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders to enable informed decision-making regarding product quality. Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases, testing tools, and best practices to continuously improve the testing process. Mentor junior test engineers and promote a culture of quality across the organization. Preferred candidate profile Bachelor's or Masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation, with at least 3 years focused on Salesforce platform testing. Proficient with Salesforce automation tools such as Selenium, Provar, or Copado Robotic Testing. Strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystems, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. Experience with Salesforce development technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components is a plus. Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Salesforce DX. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, or Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle and Deployment Designer are highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, workflows, Process Builder, and security settings. Experience with Salesforce integrations, data migration, and deployment tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
