Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities Data Collection & Management Collect data from different departments (sales, finance, operations, HR, etc.). Maintain large databases in Excel, ERP, CRM, or other software systems. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely updates of data. Report Generation Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports (sales performance, financial reports, operational efficiency, etc.). Develop dashboards and trackers for management review. Automate repetitive reports using Excel formulas, macros, or BI tools. Analysis & Insights Interpret data to identify trends, variances, and exceptions. Highlight key performance indicators (KPIs) and deviations. Provide actionable insights to management for decision-making. Coordination & Support Act as a bridge between departments by consolidating information. Support management with ad-hoc reports and special analysis. Train staff on data entry accuracy and reporting standards. System & Process Improvement Suggest improvements in reporting formats and processes.
