Job Description

As a Software Engineer at IPSA Power, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-performance C++ modules for power system simulation software. Your key duties will involve converting complex mathematical and engineering models into efficient code, integrating scientific logic into production-ready software, and maintaining large-scale codebases with a focus on performance, memory optimization, and modularity. You will ensure software quality through testing, peer reviews, and debugging while also driving innovation by evaluating new technologies and contributing to the software roadmap. To be successful in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on, professional C++ development experience. A deep understanding of core and advanced C++ and Python concepts, as well as object-oriented programming, is essential. Experience with cross-platform development, build systems, version control systems (preferably Git and Github), numerical libraries, solvers, scientific computing frameworks, GUI development using frameworks like Qt, back-end APIs for visualization tools, high-performance computing techniques, and profiling tools would be advantageous.
