Position Summary

The US Finance FP&A organization manages Financial Planning & Analysis processes for Group Benefits, Retirement & Income Solutions and MetLife Holdings businesses of MetLife USA. This newly created role within the MetLife Shared Service Center will work as part of the US Finance FP&A team to build and transform processes by advancing digital innovation and automation across financial functions

This role will be the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Finance Transformation expert responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing AI-driven solutions to streamline monthly and quarterly finance activities. They will do so by helping create data architecture, optimized process flows, Dashboarding using Business Intelligence tools (Power platform), AI Prompt engineering and AI/Technology experimentation.

In this fast-changing AI environment, having the right attitude and mindset to experiment and implement process improvement solutions for FP&A independently would be the key to success in this role.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Process Transformation: Collaborate with senior finance leadership to define and implement a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with organizational goals and financial reporting & analysis needs using Power Platform tool.

2. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, understanding capabilities, and alignment of transformation objectives.

3. Process Optimization: Analyze current financial reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation, increased accuracy, and efficiency using Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate & Power BI.

4. Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and deployment of AI tools and platforms to support financial operations.

5. Change Management: Drive change initiatives, including training and support for finance and business operations teams to adopt new transformations

6. Data Governance and Compliance: Ensure all transofmation implementations adhere to regulatory requirements and data governance policies, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of financial data.

7. Performance Reporting: Monitor and report on the impact of transformation, providing regular updates to senior stakeholders and recommending further improvements.

8. Best Practice Sharing: Facilitate the exchange of AI best practices within the organization and with external partners, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

9. Utilize internal tools to implement automation initiatives that advance business objectives by enhancing operational efficiency and delivering measurable value, thereby increasing overall customer satisfaction.

10. Monitor and deliver on agreed service level metrics.
