As a Backend Developer with expertise in Laravel and PHP, you will join our development team in Mohali, Punjab. Your role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable web applications, ensuring high performance and security. You should have a deep understanding of backend architecture, database design, RESTful APIs, and server-side logic. Your key responsibilities will include developing, testing, and maintaining backend applications using Laravel and PHP. You will design and implement RESTful APIs, optimize application performance and security, collaborate with frontend developers, and write clean, efficient code. Additionally, you will work with MySQL/PostgreSQL for database design and implement authentication and authorization systems. To succeed in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in PHP backend development, a strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns. Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, and integrating third-party APIs is essential. Knowledge of queues, caching, version control systems, unit testing, and debugging is required. Familiarity with cloud platforms, server deployment, and DevOps tools is a plus. This is a full-time position based in Mohali, Punjab, requiring in-person work during day shifts from Monday to Friday. The ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work is preferred.
