Role - Power Bi Developer Location - Faridabad Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Provide business intelligence services, spearhead BI software development, and surface Power BI reports. Manage Power BI applications including user access and automated report generation. Train end users on how to access and run Power BI reports. Collaborate with product teams, business data analysis, and end users for report development. Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards using data from SAP BW, with a particular focus on BEx queries and other BW objects. Design and create Power BI reports and dashboards utilizing data from Excel, data lakes, and Microsoft Fabric. Implement DAX queries to support complex data models and calculations within Power BI. Work with Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Services (AAS), and other related tools to integrate, analyze, and present data. Schedule and manage report delivery, including the creation of paginated reports. Ensure data security and compliance through the implementation of row-level security and proper access controls. Manage Power BI workspaces, including content sharing and user permissions. Collaborate directly with business users to gather requirements, design intuitive UX, and provide ongoing support. Administer Power BI capacity, including performance monitoring and resource optimization. Stay current with Power BI updates and features to continuously improve reporting capabilities and user experience. Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field preferred. Minimum 4 years experience developing Power BI reporting solutions. Experience with SAP ERP / SAP BW is mandatory Person should have experience on Power BI administration in terms of managing capacity, connections, performance tuning, modelling, user management , best practices, etc. Experience in Microsoft BI stack with Power BI. Experience in working with Power BI. Familiarity with scripting and programming. Knowledge of SQL server. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong focus on SAP BW integration using BEx queries. Proficiency in DAX, Azure Synapse, Azure Analysis Services (AAS), and other related technologies. Experience working with data from diverse sources such as Excel, data lakes, and Microsoft Fabric. Strong understanding of report scheduling, paginated reports, and row-level security. Ability to manage Power BI workspaces, including content sharing and user permissions. Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with business stakeholders to design and implement effective reporting solutions. Experience in Power BI capacity administration. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Certification in Power BI or related Microsoft technologies. Familiarity with UX design principles and best practices in data visualization. Ability to Lead data warehousing projects. Ability to Comprehend and Communicate accurately, clearly and concisely in English.
