Power BI (DAX & Data Modeling) Developer

As a Power BI Developer at Yoda Tech Pte. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying interactive Power BI reports and dashboards. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions. You will create data models, perform data transformations, and develop DAX queries and Power Query M scripts for complex calculations and data manipulations. Additionally, you will ensure the accuracy, performance, and scalability of Power BI reports and dashboards, provide technical support for end-users, and optimize data models and reports for improved performance and usability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and staying updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices will be key aspects of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI reports and dashboards. - Work with business users to understand requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions. - Create data models and perform data transformations to ensure efficient reporting and analysis. - Develop DAX queries and Power Query M scripts for complex calculations and data manipulations. - Perform data integration from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, SharePoint, etc.). - Ensure the accuracy, performance, and scalability of Power BI reports and dashboards. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users. - Optimize data models and reports for improved performance and usability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements. - Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices. Qualifications: - 2 to 4 years of experience in Power BI development. - Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, and Power Query. - Experience with data integration and transforming data from various sources such as SQL Server, Excel, and cloud-based systems. - Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. - Proficient in SQL for querying databases and data extraction. - Experience in building data models, creating measures, and implementing security features in Power BI. - Ability to work with large datasets and optimize performance. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Experience with other BI tools or data visualization platforms is a plus (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
