Pouch Machine Operator

Role Overview: As a Packaging Machine Operator, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the proper loading of pouch rolls, film, and packaging materials. You will also be in charge of maintaining records of production, wastage, and downtime in shift logs. It will be essential for you to coordinate with the warehouse and production team to ensure the availability of packaging materials. Your role will involve minimizing oil wastage and pouch rejections by maintaining precise settings, as well as suggesting improvements to increase machine efficiency and reduce downtime. You will be required to monitor pouch sealing, weight, and print clarity to ensure compliance with quality standards, perform regular pouch leakage tests, and take corrective actions as necessary. Additionally, accurate batch coding, labelling, and date printing on pouches will be part of your daily tasks.
