The Marketing team at Politiken is seeking a creative freelancer who can help promote a love for quality journalism. If you have the ability to develop strong concepts and possess sharp graphic skills to deliver messages effectively, whether it's on a web banner, Instagram Stories, or a classic print ad, then this opportunity might be for you. Are you passionate about spreading quality journalism while embodying the strong and visually distinctive identity of Politiken In Politiken Marketing, our focus is to strengthen and enhance the Politiken brand, increase the visibility of our journalism, and retain our valuable subscribers. We always aim for creative excellence in our communication, often with a hint of humor. While we prioritize digital platforms, we also enjoy creating impactful full-page ads in print newspapers. In short, you should be prepared to embrace the combination of black, red, and white colors for a while. Your role will involve developing major campaigns and projects, as well as handling production and day-to-day tasks that require precision. You should be adept at executing strategies across various channels and user journeys. Examples of tasks you will be handling include: - Sales campaigns - Branding of Politiken (including newsjacking) - Marketing Politiken through audio platforms - Promoting access to The New York Times - Marketing events such as Ibyen Prisen, Politiken Festival, World Press Photo, and more You should be a pro in: - Adobe Suite and Figma, which are becoming our primary graphic tools. You should also be willing to learn new programs, such as: - Creatopy for producing HTML5 banners (or any other suitable alternative) - CUE, our CMS system - Sleeknote for pop-up windows - Monday, our planning tool Rest assured, you won't be working alone but will be part of our small creative team in the Marketing department, alongside a copywriter, a designer, and a creative team lead.
