We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Application Software Engineer proficient in Object-Oriented Design and Development, specializing in .NET desktop applications with C# wpf. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in MVVM architecture, design patterns, and SQL-based data integration, particularly with Entity Framework. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Windows/Desktop applications using C#, .NET framework, and WPF. Applying Object-Oriented Design principles and design patterns to build scalable and maintainable software solutions will be a key aspect of this role. You will implement the MVVM architectural framework to ensure clean separation of concerns and testability. Integration of SQL Server-based data operations, including querying, performance tuning, and schema design, will also be part of your responsibilities. Proficiency in development tools like Visual Studio and documentation tools such as Microsoft Visio is required. Familiarity with modern development accelerators like GitHub Copilot and ALM tools like Polarion will be beneficial. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in CS/E&C/IS with a minimum of 8 years of overall working experience in the .NET WPF platform. Proven experience in software design development with best practices is expected. Strong understanding of design end goals, architecture styles, design patterns, and principles is essential. Essential requirements for this position include a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Design and Development, hands-on experience in applying Design Patterns, and proficiency in developing .NET Windows/Desktop applications using C#, .NET Framework, and WPF. Skills in using Visual Studio for development and Microsoft Visio for design and documentation are necessary. Experience with Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL Server Management, and Studio for database design, querying, and performance tuning are also required. Desired requirements include a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Role & responsibilities: Application engineering tasks connected with the new projects (including clarification of customer technical requirements) and already running projects on the local market. Requirement management in Application life cycle management tool (i.e. Polarion). Preparing the software requirement document from customer SoR and discuss with internal software development team. Engineering change request activity based on customer requirement. Preparing the motor controller test case to validate the software for system release. Support on technical communication between the customer and internal development team. Support of drive system setup at customer site including parametrization and drive system tuning. Participation and support at customer's (lab and vehicle) testing during the design and product validation phase. Design of less complex customer dedicated test set-ups and testing of drive system. Investigation of drive system technical issue and provide the root cause analysis with solution. Support on proto sample development. Collection of common technical information valid specifically for the local market. Promotion activities of MAHLE drive systems on the local market. Diagnosis for automotive traction drive systems and subsystems (e.g. inverter, E-motor, transmission, controls,) with the application-/traction drive-SW and vehicle behavior (torque controls, .). Preferred candidate profile: 2 6 years of experience in handling motors and controllers. Strong fundamental knowledge in electrical and electronics domain with minimum 2 years of experience.
