As an EDI cum Custom Clearance Executive at our company in New Delhi, you will be responsible for troubleshooting EDI processes, providing customer service, and ensuring smooth business operations related to import/export shipments. Your key responsibilities will include managing and overseeing the EDI processes, handling end-to-end customs clearance for imports and exports, preparing customs documentation, liaising with customs authorities and agencies, ensuring compliance with regulations, tracking shipments, coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams, and maintaining records for customs clearance and compliance documentation. You will be required to ensure timely and accurate data exchange between stakeholders, compliance with local and international customs regulations, preparation and submission of customs documentation such as bills of lading, invoices, and packing lists. Additionally, you will need to liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and other agencies to facilitate the timely clearance of goods, comply with import/export restrictions, tariffs, duties, and taxes, track and monitor shipments for smooth customs clearance, resolve any customs-related issues promptly, and coordinate for timely and cost-effective delivery of goods with logistics and warehouse teams.
