Experience • 3-5 years total experience in pipeline, HDD, or O&G infrastructure projects. • Minimum 3–5 years experience specifically in gas pipeline or other PSU pipeline projects. • Proven track record handling end-to-end project execution, vendor management, and site coordination. Technical Skills • Strong knowledge of: • Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) operations • Underground pipeline installation • Oil & Gas safety standards (OISD guidelines) • Reading technical drawings, alignment sheets & BOQs • Site planning, scheduling (MS Project/Excel) • Quality control & site documentation • Third-party inspection handling (TPI, IOCL officials) Management Skills • Ability to lead site engineers, supervisors & contractors • Skilled in project planning, cost control & resource allocation • Clear communication with clients (IOCL), consultants, and internal teams • Strong problem-solving and on-site decision-making ability Other Requirements • Ready to travel and stay at site • Knowledge of statutory compliance for IOCL works • Diploma/Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering preferred • Must have experience preparing daily progress reports (DPRs) and closing project documentation
