Key Responsibilities: Production Management Supervise and control day-to-day perfume blending, filling, and packaging operations. Ensure adherence to production plans, batch sheets, and timelines. Work closely with the Quality Control team for testing and approvals at each stage of production. Maintain documentation of production batches, quality reports, and deviation logs. Team Supervision Lead, guide, and train production workers on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols. Assign work schedules and monitor employee performance and discipline. Encourage a culture of responsibility, cleanliness, and teamwork in the production area. Inventory & Material Handling Coordinate with the stores and procurement team for raw materials, packaging components, and consumables. Ensure optimal utilization of materials with minimal wastage. Maintain stock records and consumption reports. Compliance & Safety Enforce compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and health, safety, and hygiene standards. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of chemicals and fragrance ingredients. Conduct routine inspections of the production area for safety and housekeeping. Process Improvement Identify areas for process optimization and suggest improvements in production efficiency. Participate in new product development trials and scale-up activities. Implement cost control measures without compromising quality. Key Responsibilities: Formulation & Mixing: Prepare and mix fragrance compositions following standardized formulas or perfumer’s instructions. Measure and weigh raw materials (essential oils, aroma chemicals, alcohols, etc.) with precision. Maintain strict adherence to batch formulas and mixing ratios. Quality Control: Conduct basic quality checks on raw materials and finished blends (e.g., smell, color, viscosity). Report any deviations, inconsistencies, or defects in raw materials or final products. Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate batch records, ingredient usage logs, and production reports. Label and store finished batches properly with batch codes and dates. Equipment Handling: Operate mixing tanks, blending machines, stirrers, and filtration units. Ensure all mixing and storage equipment are clean, sanitized, and maintained regularly. Safety & Compliance: Follow all workplace safety protocols and handle chemicals in accordance with MSDS guidelines. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) during operations. Coordination: Collaborate with perfumers, lab technicians, and production supervisors for efficient workflow. Assist in testing new formulations or pilot batches when required.
