**Job Description:** As a PMIC Systems & Validation Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be part of the Power Management Systems, Validation & Integration team (PMIC-SVI) driving the industry in system architecture and post-silicon validation of high-performance Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs). Your role involves a mix of Architecture, HW Systems, Functional Validation, Chipset integration, and customer issue debug support. You will collaborate with various engineering teams like Analog/Digital Design, Software, and Customer Engineering to define systems, debug hardware/software, and validate PMIC solutions in a fast-paced environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define top-level specifications involving HW/FW/SW level partitioning, HW Register interfaces, memory sizing, protocol selection, multi-PMIC connectivity, and debug framework support to meet chipset level requirements. - Develop and execute comprehensive functional validation plans covering manual and automated test cases, analyze HW-level results through signal measurements, debug issues, and generate reports. - Perform risk assessment of development and validation plans, interact with cross-functional teams, and engage with customers worldwide. - Utilize hands-on lab experience for post-silicon validation, demonstrate good hardware debug skills related to DC-DC converters, and automate test cases for HW systems. - Possess strong programming skills in languages like C#, F#, Python, Perl, or LabVIEW, along with a good understanding of PMIC, Power Electronics, and digital & embedded electronics concepts. - Comfortably use lab instruments like oscilloscopes, power supplies, JTAG debuggers, and have familiarity with HW schematics and ability to trace PCB interconnections. - Demonstrate good analytical and communication skills, proactively seek information, manage priorities, and handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-paced environment. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Electronics related Engineering is a must; Master's degree with specialization in VLSI/Microelectronics, Power Management is preferred. - 1-3 years of job experience in various HW/S aspects of electronic product development is required. - Knowledge of ASIC Flow, PMIC fundamentals, Power Management, Microcontroller architecture, basic firmware, and HW-SW interaction is preferred. - Strong hands-on lab experience in post-silicon validation, familiarity with tools like JIRA and GIT, and exposure to assembly-language programming are advantageous.
