Plumbing Supervisor (Construction & Maintenance)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Supervisor to oversee all plumbing activities during building construction and provide ongoing maintenance for our rental properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising plumbing installations, ensuring quality control, managing plumbing teams, and handling repair and maintenance work post-construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction Phase:

• Supervise and coordinate all plumbing works at construction sites.
• Interpret construction drawings and plumbing blueprints.
• Plan pipe layouts, water supply systems, and drainage networks.
• Ensure plumbing installations comply with local codes and project timelines.
• Coordinate with site engineers, civil supervisors, and other trades.

Maintenance Phase (Post-Construction):

• Oversee routine and emergency plumbing maintenance in rental units.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, fixture issues, and water supply problems.
• Maintain service records for each property and prepare maintenance reports.
• Schedule and supervise plumbing maintenance teams for timely issue resolution.

General Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of plumbers and helpers.
• Maintain inventory of plumbing tools, parts, and materials.
• Work within budget and reduce unnecessary material wastage.

Requirements:

• MEP degree or equivalent preferred
• 10 years of experience in plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and plumbing codes.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Sowripalayam, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
