Plumbing & Fire Fighting Draughtsman/woman

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for plumbing and fire fighting systems using AutoCAD or relevant CAD software.
• Draft layouts for water supply, drainage, sewage, storm water, sprinklers, pumps, hydrants, and piping networks.
• Interpret design inputs from engineers and convert them into precise CAD drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, electrical, HVAC, structural) to avoid clashes.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineers’ comments and site changes.
• Maintain drawing registers, versions, and proper documentation.
• Assist site engineers and supervisors with technical drawing details when required.
• Prepare as-built drawings after project completion.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma / ITI in Draftsmanship (Mechanical / Civil / Plumbing preferred).
• 2–5 years of experience in plumbing and fire fighting drafting.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, water supply, drainage, and fire fighting systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting essential; 3D knowledge is an advantage).
• Familiarity with international and local codes (NFPA, IPC, NBC, etc.).
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
