Plumbing & Electrician

Role Overview

Responsible for carrying out day-to-day plumbing and electrical installation, repair, and maintenance work at the project site. Ensures quality workmanship and follows safety standards while completing tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities1. Plumbing Works

• Install, repair, and maintain water supply and drainage lines.
• Fix sanitary fixtures such as taps, valves, washbasins, WCs, traps, and tanks.
• Carry out leak testing, pressure testing, and repair leakages.
• Install pipelines, fittings, pumps, and connections to overhead/underground tanks.
• Attend to blockages, maintenance issues, and urgent repair calls.
• Maintain plumbing tools and follow daily instructions from the supervisor.

2. Electrical Works

• Install wiring, conduits, switches, sockets, MCBs, DBs, and lighting fixtures.
• Lay and terminate cables safely and correctly.
• Assist in installation of motors, panels, and earthing systems.
• Perform electrical testing such as continuity, insulation checks, and load checks.
• Attend electrical faults and carry out repairs with proper safety precautions.
• Maintain electrical tools and follow supervisor instructions.

General Responsibilities

• Report daily progress to the supervisor.
• Follow safety rules and wear necessary PPE while working.
• Maintain good workmanship and work quality.
• Coordinate with other workers and departments to complete tasks smoothly.
• Ensure proper housekeeping after completing work.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of plumbing pipes, fittings, valves, and sanitary fixtures.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring, circuits, and safety practices.
• Ability to use plumbing and electrical tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot common issues in both trades.

Experience

• 2–10 years in plumbing and/or electrical site work (construction, industry, residential, or commercial).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹29,066.05 per month
