Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Plumage Technology located in Puducherry. The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for Supplier Quality Assurance - Auditing, Evaluation and Performance Monitoring, Customer complaints handling, Preparation documents like SOP, WI, Control Plan & FMEA. Maintaining the IMS documentation & Conducting Internal Audits. Handling of IMS Audits and Customer Audits. Monitoring of production DPPM on day-to-day basis. Roles & Responsibilities: Diagnose and Repair: Identify and fix hardware malfunctions on various motherboards and related components, often down to the individual component level. Troubleshoot circuit issues using electronic schematics and diagrams to understand the board's functionality. Perform precise soldering and de-soldering of various electronic components, such as transistors, capacitors, and integrated circuits (ICs). Conduct functional tests and quality checks on repaired boards to ensure they meet industry standards and functionality. Maintain accurate records of all repair activities, parts replaced, and test results. Keep updated with the latest industry trends, new technologies, and effective repair methodologies for computer hardware. Key Skills & Qualifications: Strong understanding knowledge of electronic components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, ICs) and how they function. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools like Multimeters, DC Meter, BIOS Programmer and other testing equipment. Ability to analyze complex technical problems and devise effective solutions. Advanced proficiency in soldering and de-soldering components on printed circuit boards (PCBs). Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and diagrams. Educational Qualification: Preferred Diploma/BE/BTech (ECE, EEE, CS) or Relevant experience in Computer Knowledge. Required Minimum 3 Years Experience. CTC: Salary as per industry standards.
