Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Windchill Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of PTC Windchill PLM solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Windchill architecture, customization, and integrations, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Key Responsibilities Define end-to-end Windchill solution architecture aligned with business needs and enterprise IT landscape. Lead requirement analysis, solution design, and system integration for PLM projects. Provide technical leadership in Windchill modules such as PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, Parts Classification, Change Management, and BOM Management. Design and implement Windchill customizations, workflows, and extensions using Java, Info*Engine, and related technologies. Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and development teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery. Assess existing PLM environments, identify gaps, and propose solution/ strategies. Guide integration of Windchill with CAD tools (Creo, NX, SolidWorks, etc.), ERP, and other enterprise systems. Ensure system performance, scalability, and security in Windchill deployments. Provide leadership in solution workshops, technical POCs, and customer presentations. Mentor and guide technical consultants and developers on Windchill best practices. Ready to travel at customer location globally for short duration. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Strong customer facing background with 10+ years of PLM experience in Windchill Solution Architecture . Strong expertise in PTC Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, and related modules. Experience integrating Windchill with CAD tools (Creo, CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Strong understanding of PLM concepts: Change Management, Configuration Management, BOM/MBOM/EBOM, Document Management. Hands-on experience with ThingWorx/IoT integration with PLM is a plus. Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
