PLM Functional Testing

As a skilled QA/Test Engineer with hands-on experience in testing ARAS Innovator PLM applications, your role involves designing and executing test plans and test cases for ARAS Innovator applications and customizations. You will be responsible for performing manual and/or automated testing for different modules such as ItemTypes, Workflows, and Life Cycles. Validating ARAS upgrades, patches, and new deployments will also be part of your key responsibilities. Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements is essential, along with logging, tracking, and verifying defects in issue tracking systems like JIRA. Ensuring PLM system performance and data integrity post-changes and participating in test strategy, impact analysis, and release validation cycles are also key aspects of the role. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute test plans and test cases for ARAS Innovator applications and customizations. - Perform manual and/or automated testing for different modules (ItemTypes, Workflows, Life Cycles, etc.). - Validate ARAS upgrades, patches, and new deployments. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements. - Log, track, and verify defects in issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA). - Ensure PLM system performance and data integrity post-changes. - Participate in test strategy, impact analysis, and release validation cycles. Qualifications Required: - 3-6 years of experience specifically testing ARAS Innovator PLM platform. - Strong understanding of ARAS components: ItemTypes, Workflows, Method Scripts, AML, etc. - Experience with SQL for data validation and backend verification. - Familiarity with testing REST APIs used in ARAS integrations. - Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes. - Strong documentation and communication skills.
