PLC Programmer

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing PLC programs as per project requirements. Additionally, you will configure and program HMI and SCADA systems for process monitoring and control. Your role will involve performing troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of PLC, HMI, SCADA, and related automation hardware. You will also conduct preventive maintenance and servicing of automation systems. Working with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control circuits will be part of your daily tasks. Furthermore, you will test, commission, and validate new control system installations. Collaboration with the design and engineering team for system integration is essential. Documenting programming changes, configurations, and maintenance activities will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Providing technical support and training to operators and maintenance staff is also part of the job. Qualifications required for this role include a Diploma or Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering. You should have a minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and servicing. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as MODBUS, PROFIBUS, Ethernet/IP is crucial. Experience with VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation will be an added advantage.
