PLC Programmer

You will be responsible for developing and programming PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems using software like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, etc. Your duties will include designing and implementing HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and SCADA systems for industrial automation. It will be your role to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize control systems to ensure efficient operation. You will also conduct testing, simulation, and validation of automation systems before deployment and integrate PLC systems with sensors, actuators, robotics, and other industrial devices. Collaboration with electrical and mechanical engineers will be essential to ensure seamless automation processes. On-site installation, commissioning, and technical support provision will also fall under your responsibilities. Maintaining detailed documentation for programs, configurations, and system changes and ensuring compliance with safety standards and industrial regulations will be crucial. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering. Additionally, you should have at least 2 years of experience in PLC programming and industrial automation. A strong knowledge of Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram programming is required. Experience with HMI/SCADA systems such as Wonderware, WinCC, or FactoryTalk is preferred. Understanding of industrial communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems are necessary. You should also have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and P&IDs. A willingness to travel for on-site support and commissioning, if required, is expected.,
