As an Accountant at Plaza Catering in Shornur, Palakkad, Kerala, you will be responsible for managing financial records, overseeing GST submissions, and handling day-to-day accounting operations. We are seeking an experienced individual with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of Tally, and proficiency in GST processes. Your key responsibilities will include managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing financial statements and reports, conducting bank reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring timely and accurate GST submission and compliance, maintaining ledgers, monitoring cash flow, coordinating with internal departments and external auditors, using Tally ERP software for financial entries and reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local financial regulations. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or higher (M.Com / MBA in Finance preferred), a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting roles, proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel, strong knowledge of GST regulations and tax filings, attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, good communication, and problem-solving abilities.
