As an Infoscion, your primary responsibility as part of the consulting team will involve actively assisting in various project phases. This includes activities such as problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment. You will be tasked with exploring alternatives to recommended solutions through thorough research, including literature surveys, public domain information, vendor evaluations, etc. Additionally, creating POCs will be part of your role. Your duties will also entail translating business needs into requirement specifications, defining to-be processes, and developing detailed functional designs based on these requirements. Supporting the configuration of solution requirements, understanding and diagnosing any issues that may arise, seeking clarifications, and identifying solution alternatives are crucial aspects of your job. Furthermore, you will contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at providing high-quality, value-adding solutions to customers. In the testing team at Infosys, your main role will involve anchoring testing requirements, developing test strategies, tracking and monitoring project plans, reviewing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Ensuring the availability of the right test environment and providing feedback for test data setup to facilitate timely test execution will be part of your responsibilities. You will also validate go-live activities, such as production verification, to ensure the application runs smoothly in the production environment. Additionally, mentoring the team, providing regular feedback, and coaching to enhance their performance will be essential.
