Playwright QA Automation

As a skilled Selenium Developer with over 6 years of experience, you will have the opportunity to join our team in Chennai, Tamilnadu, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining the test automation process. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks such as participating in the evaluation and planning of the automation roadmap, maintaining and updating Selenium WebDriver and Rest azure scripts, designing and implementing a scalable test automation framework and strategy using Selenium WebDriver, among others. Your key duties will involve developing, designing, and maintaining UI automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver Java and Rest azure, collaborating with software developers, quality assurance engineers, and project managers to ensure high-quality software releases, analyzing user requirements and technical design documents to provide constructive feedback, as well as writing clear and concise test cases and scripts. Additionally, your role will require a strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Playwright, TypeScript, and JavaScript, along with the execution, evaluation, and reporting of test results for both manual and automated test cases. Furthermore, you will be expected to identify and analyze software flaws, collaborate closely with developers to find effective solutions, stay updated with emerging testing tools, trends, and methodologies, and possess a solid understanding of Selenium WebDriver, Java, and proficiency in other programming languages. Familiarity with automated testing tools such as TestNG, JUnit, Rest azure, and Cucumber, along with API automation using Postman collection, knowledge of version control systems like Git, and an understanding of agile development methodologies like Scrum and Kanban will be essential. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills will also be advantageous in this role.,
