Platform Developer/Architect

Platform Developer/Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, maintenance, and support of vendor-supplied applications on Windows platforms.
• Independently perform troubleshooting, break/fix support, patching, system upgrades, and integration activities.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve application-level vulnerabilities (Windows) related to Java, Amazon Corretto, Struts, Tomcat, Apache, and relevant drivers.
• Work with security tools like Fortify to scan, assess, and address application vulnerabilities.
• Create and maintain detailed technical and architecture documentation, including support models and infrastructure diagrams.
• Collaborate directly with client stakeholders, providing proactive updates on application and infrastructure health.
• Rapidly learn new applications and system environments with little or no formal handover or documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on experience with Windows platform, application support, and system architecture .
• In-depth knowledge of Windows Server environments: patch management, integration, configuration, and system upgrades .
• Practical experience in vulnerability remediation for Windows-based applications, especially involving Java environments (Amazon Corretto, Struts), Apache, Tomcat, and drivers .
• Demonstrated ability to use vulnerability scanning tools, including Fortify or similar.
• Proven experience producing high-level technical and architectural documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable working directly with client teams.
• Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently to ramp up quickly in a new environment.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to EcoStruxure or similar vendor-installed application platforms.
• Prior experience supporting US-based clients and flexibility to cover US business hours
