Plastic Injection Molding Product Designer

As a Plastic Injection Molding Product Designer (CATIA) at our Japanese client's company in India, your primary role will be to design and develop plastic injection molding products using CATIA V5. You will specialize in lamp design and structural analysis, engaging in technical discussions with clients and collaborating with their design departments. Your expertise in CATIA V5 and plastic product design, particularly in lamp design, will be crucial for this role. The client's company, recently established in India near Chennai, focuses on various products such as resin molded products, general jigs, 3D solutions & texture, industrial machinery, and industrial cotton cloths. Your responsibilities will include working closely with the design team, ensuring high-quality product designs that meet client requirements. To excel in this role, you should have 7 to 10 years of experience with CATIA V5 and a similar duration of experience in plastic product design. While Japanese language skills are preferred, they are not mandatory. Business-level English proficiency is essential, and knowledge of Tamil is preferred. The monthly salary for this position ranges from 80,000 to 120,000, with an annual salary between 1,000,000 and 1,500,000. Relocation allowance, bonuses, and other benefits are negotiable. You will work full-time with working hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and business trips to Japan and Thailand may be required. The holiday schedule aligns with the client's calendar, following a 5-day workweek. Social insurance and benefits are provided, and there is a 6-month probation period for new hires.
