Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for operating the plasma cutting machine to cut structural steel as per drawings and specifications in a structural steel manufacturing team in Chennai. Your role will involve interpreting fabrication drawings, ensuring quality and accuracy of cuts, performing routine maintenance and machine checks, maintaining a safe work environment, and coordinating with the production and quality team. Key Responsibilities: - Operate plasma cutting machine to cut structural steel as per drawings/specifications - Read and interpret fabrication drawings - Ensure quality and accuracy of cuts - Perform routine maintenance and machine checks - Maintain a safe and clean work environment - Coordinate with the production and quality team Qualification Required: - Minimum 1 year of experience in operating plasma cutting machines - Experience in a PEB/structural steel fabrication company is preferred - Ability to read basic engineering drawings - Understanding of machine parameters and settings - Physically fit and willing to work in a factory environment - Basic knowledge of safety practices Please note that the JD does not include any additional details about the company.,
