Role & responsibilities: At RO Industries, the Plant Technician plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production facilities. This position involves monitoring equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting operational excellence across the plant. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining high standards of reliability and product quality. Key Responsibilities: Operate, monitor, and maintain plant equipment and systems in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions or failures to minimize downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance and operational records, including logs, service reports, and inspection checklists. Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades. Collaborate with engineers, operators, and other technicians to optimize plant processes and support continuous improvement initiatives. Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Participate in training programs and skill development initiatives to stay current with technological advancements.
