Plant Senior Engineer- Product & Process. (Forging Designer)

You will be responsible for contributing to the analysis of information and specification of methods and process steps to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes. This includes determining the plant, machinery, and equipment required to deliver the end product within specified cost and quality parameters. Your role will involve contributing to the design of engineering solutions, designing feasibility testing approaches, and supervising their implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutions. You will support the drafting of engineering standards and specifications under the guidance of senior colleagues, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of those standards. Additionally, you will carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of engineering works and existing installations, making recommendations for remedial works to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements. Data collection and analysis using preset tools, methods, and formats will be part of your responsibilities, and you will work independently in collating and analyzing data. Identifying shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures, and using change management programs to address them will be crucial. You will also work within established project management plans to achieve specific goals. Furthermore, you will develop your own capabilities through assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training, and coaching. This may include gaining or maintaining external professional accreditation to improve performance. You will support knowledge management systems and offer advice to help others maximize their use. Moreover, you will engage in product development and engineering activities, using established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products. Building effective working relationships within the internal client organization and delivering high-quality professional services will be important. You will also follow health, safety, and environment policies and procedures to mitigate risks in the workplace. Identifying shortcomings in existing manufacturing processes, systems, and procedures, and developing methods and processes to address them will also be part of your role. Your skills in engineering technology, design, development, specification, testing, project schedule management, engineering build, costing, and budgeting will be utilized to provide technical guidance when required. Additionally, you should hold a B. Tech / BE or equivalent level of education with 10 years of experience or above.,
