Plant Room Operative

The role of Estates Operations & Maintenance team member within the Directorate of Technology, Estates & Facilities (DTEF) at the University of York campus involves working with a team of qualified colleagues to support central utility infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities include enhancing equipment reliability, providing specialist assistance, and supporting the maintenance team in various disciplines. It is crucial to have experience in commercial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems. Essential qualifications for this role include an NVQ in Heating and Ventilation, hands-on experience with complex systems, Building Environment Management Systems, air handling units, Low Electrical Voltage systems, and commercial heating and Hot Water systems.
