Plant Operator (Hydrogen PSA Plant)

As a Plant Operator at our Hydrogen PSA Plant in Hosakote, Karnataka, your role involves operating, monitoring, and controlling the plant equipment and processes in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP). Your key responsibilities include: - Operating, monitoring, and controlling the PSA hydrogen plant equipment and processes as per SOP. - Starting up, shutting down, and safely operating hydrogen generation, purification, and compression systems. - Monitoring process parameters such as temperatures, pressures, flow rates, gas purity, alarms, and safety systems, and maintaining operation logs. - Performing routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections of plant equipment, valves, and instruments, and coordinating with maintenance crew. - Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards by enforcing PPE and safety protocols. - Troubleshooting operational issues and coordinating with maintenance/engineering for repairs and preventive maintenance. - Assisting in shift handover, maintaining accurate logs, and communicating any deviations or unusual events. - Following all company policies, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures, and emergency response protocols. Qualifications/Experience required for this role include: - Minimum: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical or equivalent. - Familiarity with industrial safety norms, basic instrumentation, and mechanical understanding.
