Position: Production Engineer Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)/Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEE / DEE) Experience: 1 years to 2 years (Preferred) (Oil & Gas industry) Salary range: Rs.16,000 to Rs.25,000(CTC) Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated Production Engineer to oversee manufacturing processes, improve productivity, ensure quality control, and coordinate daily shop-floor activities. The ideal candidate must have strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and experience in production planning and process optimization. Key Responsibilities · Monitor and manage daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines. · Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for improved efficiency. · Prepare and maintain production reports, process documentation, and daily records. · Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and design teams to resolve shop-floor issues. · Analyze productivity and suggest process improvements, cost reduction, and waste minimization. · Support installation, testing, and commissioning of production equipment. · Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality norms, and company procedures. · Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA). · Plan manpower, material requirements, and machine utilization. · Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs. Required Skills · Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical fundamentals (based on diploma). · Knowledge of manufacturing processes: machining, fabrication, assembly, testing. · Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs. · Basic knowledge of production tools like 5S, Kaizen, Lean, TPM. · Proficiency in MS Office · Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
