Plant Associate - Press Operator

As a Press Machine Operator at Calderys, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of press machines and contributing to the production activities. Your responsibilities will include: - Commencing work by following the "take 5" procedure to ensure safety protocols are in place. - Conducting thorough checks on all press machines to ensure their proper functioning. - Monitoring the hydraulic oil level and checking for any leakages. - Inspecting and maintaining the condition of top force seals. - Observing and rectifying any issues related to previous materials, such as thickness variation, slurry leakage, and operational problems. - Ensuring the trolleys are in good condition for efficient operations. - Providing necessary safety-related training to press machine helpers and ensuring their awareness of press machine operations. - Maintaining good coordination with inter-departments for seamless operations. - Implementing safety protocols and adhering to shopfloor 5S standards. - Ensuring compliance with internal and external audits and having knowledge of ISO/IMS standards. Qualifications required for this role include: - At least 08th pass with 5-7 years of experience or ITI qualification. - Prior experience as a press machine operator across all three shifts. - Knowledge of Hydraulic Press Machines.
