Senior Wordpress Developer

As a skilled WordPress developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing attractive and functional websites for clients. Your role will involve both back-end and front-end development, including implementing WordPress themes and plugins, site integration, and security updates. It is important to have a deep understanding of front-end programming languages and possess a keen eye for aesthetics. Your key responsibilities will include developing WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, designing new features and functionality, establishing and guiding website architecture, ensuring high performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS. Additionally, you will help create an effective, responsive design and transform it into a functional theme and plugin. Conducting website performance tests and troubleshooting content issues will also be part of your duties. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience and a good grasp of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience in building user interfaces for websites or web applications, familiarity with debugging tools like Firebug and Chrome inspector, and the ability to understand CSS changes and their impact on style consistency across platforms are essential. Knowledge of interacting with RESTful APIs and formats like JSON and XML, as well as proficiency in code versioning tools like Git, SVN, and Mercurial, will be beneficial. A strong understanding of PHP back-end development is also required.
