Role Overview We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager / Sales Executive with proven experience in selling cybersecurity services. This role involves full-cycle sales — from lead generation to closing — and requires strong knowledge of cybersecurity domains, client needs, and industry-driven sales approaches. You will directly contribute to the growth of PlaidNox by building relationships, identifying client pain points, pitching solutions, and achieving revenue targets. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify and pursue new business opportunities across India and global markets. Build a high-quality sales pipeline through outreach (LinkedIn, email, calls, networking events). Research target industries and potential clients to understand their security posture and gaps. Sales & Client Engagement Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs, project scope, and challenges. Present PlaidNox services clearly — pentesting, vCISO, cloud security, compliance, ASM platform, etc. Prepare proposals, quotes, and commercial negotiations. Manage the full sales cycle: outreach → demo → proposal → negotiation → closure → onboarding handover. Account Management Maintain long-term relationships with clients to upsell/cross-sell services. Act as a client partner to ensure customer satisfaction and renewals. Track account performance and maintain CRM hygiene. Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with technical, delivery, and leadership teams to align on offerings and capabilities. Provide weekly sales reports, funnel updates, and forecasting. Contribute to marketing content suggestions (case studies, campaigns, outreach scripts). Required Skills & Experience 2–6 years of experience in cybersecurity sales (mandatory). Strong understanding of: Penetration testing services vCISO & compliance services (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR) Cloud security concepts ASM platforms / continuous monitoring Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to explain technical concepts in simple business terms. Experience working with IT decision-makers (CTOs, CISOs, IT Heads). Familiarity with CRMs and structured sales processes. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling to SaaS companies, fintech, healthtech, manufacturing, or enterprise clients. Existing network of cybersecurity-inclined prospects. Understanding of delivery timelines, project scoping, and cybersecurity documentation.
