Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend C# Developer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend development principles and a proven track record of building and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable services using the .NET ecosystem. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying mission-critical backend components that form the backbone of our applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code and .NET components. Architect and build robust, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs and web services using ASP.NET Core. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to define, design, and ship new features. Implement and maintain data storage solutions, including relational (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). Utilize Entity Framework Core for data access and manipulation. Develop and manage microservices-based architectures, ensuring seamless communication and data consistency between services. Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality and application stability. Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and bugs. Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and security. Stay current with emerging backend technologies and best practices within the .NET ecosystem and advocate for their adoption where appropriate. Required Skills and Qualifications 3-5 years of professional experience in backend software development using C# and the .NET framework. Strong proficiency in .NET Core and ASP.NET Core for building web APIs. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. Proven experience in designing and building RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries. Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra). Experience with Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks, primarily Entity Framework Core. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, especially Git. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Skills Experience with message queuing systems (e.g., RabbitMQ). Knowledge of caching technologies. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Serilog). A proactive and collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
