JOB OVERVIEW: This role involves managing security creation, documentation, and monitoring of portfolio companies cash flows, covenants, TRA, and MIS, while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. It offers the opportunity to safeguard financial interests and contribute to the long-term success of the portfolio. KEY STAKEHOLDERS: Portfolio companies (External) Investment team Legal Team Audit / Credit Operations team Desired Candidate Profile: Educational Background & Experience: MBA/CS/LLB/Graduate with 5+ years of experience in any debenture trustee and/ or asset monitoring role or credit operations role with a corporate-lending focused bank/ NBFC/ credit fund Regulatory Knowledge – Working understanding of the Companies Act, 2013 and related statutory regulations relevant to accounting and compliance in portfolio companies. Ownership & Adaptability – Demonstrates initiative, accountability, problem-solving ability, and decisiveness in dynamic situations. Collaboration & Communication – Effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills and strong communication, capable of engaging with stakeholders in portfolio companies. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES: Loan Documentation & Compliance – Assist in preparing and reviewing wholesale loan documentation, security creation, and scrutiny of executed documents, ensuring timely perfection of charges (mortgage, hypothecation, etc.). Stakeholder Coordination – Collaborate with credit, finance, legal teams, and other stakeholders to enable smooth deal closures while protecting investor rights. •Monitoring & Tracking – Maintain comprehensive trackers for each portfolio company, monitor disbursed cases, and ensure compliance with agreed deliverables. Audit & Trusteeship – Handle internal audit queries and oversee operational aspects of the trusteeship mandate.
