Piping stress engineer (Offshore)

As a Piping Mechanical/Stress Engineer, your main role is to carry out stress analysis for various structures such as WHP, FIXED, PROCESS PLATFORMS, and FPSO2. Your responsibilities include: - Performing necessary calculations to ensure all loading conditions experienced by a piping system are considered and accounted for in the design. - Ensuring that piping systems fully comply with the specified stress analysis requirements. - Issuing approved stress isometrics for critical lines as needed. - Preparing stress calculations and nozzle loads summaries to demonstrate code compliance and creating a Stress Analysis Report for each analyzed piping system. - Confirming that the design of piping, pipe supports, and special piping items align with ASME codes, industry standards, and project/client specifications. - Conducting Pipe Stress Analysis Calculations. - Providing Plant Layout Comments. - Coordinating loads with other disciplines. - Developing Piping Mechanical Specifications. - Performing Special Studies. - Calculating Special Piping (SP) Items and creating Drawings and Data Sheets. - Generating Special Piping (SP) Item Requisition Worksheets. - Creating Pipe Support Drawings and Requisition Worksheets. - Identifying Pipe Support Locations. - Having experience with Caesar II software for flexibility analysis. - Demonstrating knowledge of Support selection, support design, and special support Drawing creation. - Being well-versed in Fatigue/Blast, FPSO Hog, Sag, and structural considerations. - Familiarity with Navis Model/Review Reality. - Understanding of AIV/FIV is preferable. - Possessing excellent skills to guide young engineers in their work. - Knowledge in PML macros development is an added advantage.
