Job Title: Plant Head ERW Pipes Location: Bhuj- Gujarat Industry: Steel / Pipe Manufacturing/ Fabrication Department: Production, Manufacturing & Engineering Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage the operations of our ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) pipe manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipe mill operations, production planning, maintenance, and team leadership. This role is critical to ensuring optimal plant performance, quality standards, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: Production Management: Independently set up and run ERW pipe mills. Plan and execute full utilization of plant and machinery. Monitor production KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Operations & Maintenance: Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of equipment. Ensure availability of spares and tools for uninterrupted operations. Raw Material & Inventory Control: Plan and procure raw materials based on market demand and production schedules. Manage inventory to minimize waste and optimize costs. Team Leadership & Development: Train and develop manpower for efficient operations and inventory management. Foster a culture of safety, discipline, and accountability. Quality & Compliance: Coordinate with quality teams to ensure adherence to ISO/TS standards. Ensure compliance with EHS, OHSAS, and other regulatory norms. Coordination & Communication: Liaise with sales, marketing, and logistics for timely dispatch and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth plant operations. Project Execution: Lead plant shutdowns, upgrades, and new installations. Ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production preferred). 15–25 years of experience in ERW pipe manufacturing or related industry. Proven leadership in managing large-scale manufacturing operations. Strong knowledge of ERW, MS, and GI pipe production processes.
