Pipeline Supervisor (Australia Shift)

As a Pipeline Supervisor at our company, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing core pipeline and workflow requirements for large or complex shows. Your responsibilities will include supervising the Pipeline team, managing the development of tools and workflows, contributing to the overall pipeline, and training artists in new technology and techniques. Key Responsibilities: - Supervising the Pipeline team, the Pipeline TDs, ATDs, and Apprentices - Managing and contributing to the on-show development of tools and workflows - Ensuring that all development efforts align with the show's needs and overall pipeline - Managing and contributing to on-show development by ATDs and Pipeline TDs - Contributing to the planning and major developments in the core DNEG Pipeline - Training artists in relevant new technology and techniques - Creating user-friendly documentation and tutorials for new tools and workflows - Generating and monitoring support and development tickets for our shows Qualifications Required: - Proven experience at a supervisory level in the Visual effects industry - Excellent Python, Maya, and Linux skills - Experience in developing tools for DCC packages such as Maya, Houdini, and/or Nuke - Experience with source control systems and team development Additional Company Details: Our Pipeline teams are dedicated to combining technology expertise with artist workflows to support the creative process and ensure an optimal global pipeline.
