The Lead Pipeline Engineer/Senior Pipeline Engineer/Pipeline Engineer position based in Hyderabad requires an experienced professional with 5-20 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry. As a Lead Pipeline Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include performing FEED, Studies, and detailed design engineering, analysis, and calculations for complex engineering tasks. You will be expected to apply your knowledge and skills to complete various assignments, prioritize work to meet deadlines, and focus on staying within budgets. Clear communication and explanation of information in straightforward engineering activities are essential aspects of this role. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: - Gain familiarity with project scope, specifications, schedule, and inter-discipline requirements - Review survey drawings, key plans, pipeline route maps, alignment sheets, and other relevant documents - Interface with all disciplines and departments to develop clash-free designs - Review vendor and subcontractor submittals for compliance with project specifications - Prepare material specifications, installation specifications, and other design-related documents for pipelines and their components - Perform various designs, analyses, and evaluations for pipelines and their components Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in oil and gas industry, preferably with a major contractor or consultant - Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering; or Naval Architecture (Master's Degree preferred) - Registered Engineer in Training (EIT) or member of a professional engineering society - Familiarity with standards, codes, and guidelines applicable to offshore projects - Knowledge of basic design techniques and analysis methods This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background in pipeline engineering and a proven track record of delivering high-quality design work in the oil and gas sector. Your role will involve collaborating with various disciplines, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and supporting fabrication queries and design verification processes. As a seasoned professional in the Oil and Gas industry with 7-10 years of experience, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and possess strong knowledge of design techniques, engineering standards, and software tools. Your ability to work independently, communicate effectively in English, and demonstrate a cost-conscious and safety-focused approach will be essential. Further qualifications such as a Master's degree or professional engineering certification are preferred. In this role, you will report to the Project Engineer or Lead Engineer for project-related matters and to the Department Manager for functional guidance.
