Minimum 3-4 Years Experience in Oil & Gas Field with similar experience
Pipe fitter should be able understand and write in English, further he has to pass the ARAMCO -CWQAP Exam
Identification of different piping materials (CS, SS, Alloy steel etc.)
Knowledge of pipe sizes, schedules and pressure ratings.
Familiarity with fittings (Elbow, Tee, Reducer, Coupling Etc)
Knowledge of gasket, bolts, flanges and tightening process.
Knowledge of weld map, line list and bill of material
Experience in pipe fit-up and alignment
Joint preparation as per WPS (Welding procedure specification)
Control of root gap, bevel angle, Hi-lo and misalignment
Skilled in using measuring tape, vernier caliper, spirit level and Square
Knowledge of torque wrench, pipe cutting, threading tools
Experience with flange alignment tools and hydraulic jacks
Knowledge in hydrotest and pneumatic test.
All candidates should have experience in ARAMCO Projects.
