We are committed to delivering world-class quality and precision to our clients. Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced VMC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in CNC programming, toolpath optimization, and machining operations. The role requires both programming and hands-on shop floor involvement to ensure smooth production. Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize CNC programs for VMC machines using CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam, Powermill). Interpret engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, and technical documents to create machining strategies. Select cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to ensure efficient machining while maintaining quality. Perform setup instructions for operators and support during trial runs. Troubleshoot machining issues and provide process improvements. Ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish requirements through inspection. Maintain program documentation and contribute to continuous process improvements. Collaborate with engineers and operators to reduce cycle time and improve productivity. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent. 35 years of experience as a CNC VMC Programmer in a precision machining environment. Proficiency in CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam, Solidcam or Powermill). Strong knowledge of G-codes, M-codes, and CNC controllers (Fanuc). Experience in aerospace/defense component machining preferred. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T. Hands-on knowledge of machine setup, work holding, and tooling.
