Job Title: Marketing and Sales Intern (Hybrid) Location: [Your City/Gym Location] Reports to: Marketing/Sales Manager Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing and Sales Intern to join our fitness center. This role is a unique blend of digital content creation and on-the-ground marketing, designed for someone who is passionate about fitness and motivated by sales targets. Your primary goal is to increase daily walk-ins to the gym by creating compelling social media content and executing effective offline promotional activities. Key Responsibilities Sales-Oriented Content Development: Design, shoot, and edit engaging video content (Reels, Stories, tutorials) and static images tailored for our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.). Develop content specifically aimed at generating leads, promoting offers, and driving immediate customer action (i.e., gym walk-ins). Offline Marketing & Lead Generation: Organize and execute local marketing activities, including pamphlet distribution in high-traffic areas. Manage and operate promotional canopy (kiosk) activities to interact with potential members and capture leads. Primary Goal: Driving Walk-Ins: Implement daily strategies, both online and offline, with the direct objective of increasing the number of prospective members visiting the gym. Data and Spreadsheet Management: Maintain and manage lead databases using spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets). Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as leads generated, walk-ins, and conversion rates from different marketing activities. Requirements and Qualifications Prerequisite: Proven proficiency in spreadsheet management (Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets) and data organisation is essential. Content Creation: Demonstrable experience in video creation and editing (using mobile apps, Canva, etc.) and basic graphic design for social media. Sales Mindset: A strong orientation towards achieving sales targets and understanding how marketing activities translate into revenue. Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills; must be confident and outgoing when interacting with the public during offline activities. Self-Motivated: Must be a proactive self-starter, highly organised, and able to manage time effectively in a hybrid work model. Passion (Preferred): A genuine interest in fitness, health, and the gym industry is a significant plus.
