Job Description

Conduct comprehensive assessment of patients.
Design and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment plans in consultation with treating consultants.
Deliver therapeutic exercises, mobilisation, electrotherapy, and rehabilitation programs as per prescribed protocols.
Provide pre- and post-operative physiotherapy to optimise patient recovery and mobility.
Manage physiotherapy services in critical care areas (ICU, CCU, NICU, PICU) ensuring safe mobilisation and chest physiotherapy.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, posture correction, and lifestyle modification.
Maintain detailed treatment records, progress notes, and departmental statistics.
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of physiotherapy equipment and modalities.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with consultants, nurses, and rehabilitation teams for holistic care.
Adhere to hospital SOPs, NABH standards, and infection control protocols.
